Taylor Mokris, analyst at Wachovia, was born in raised here in Charlotte, NC. After receiving a Finance degree from The College of William and Mary (famous alumni include Thomas Jefferson and Jon Stewart), where he also was a 4-year scholarship basketball player, Taylor moved back to his hometown of Charlotte to take a job in banking, in the nation's 2nd largest financial center. At Wachovia, Taylor is responsible for reporting and analysis on the $300 billion consumer lending portfolio.
In addition to his role as Vice President of Guys With Ties; Taylor has been involved and supported numerous charities across the region, including Second Harvest Food Bank, the Reading First program at Tryon Hills Pre-K, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Mitey Riders, Junior Achievement, and the United Way.
